To begin with, it's worth understanding what the crypto community does. Basically, a typical “crypto-enthusiast” can be described as “Dude who has $500 bucks on the exchange, posts memes on reddit and X, most likely he spends time on pointless university or on pointless watching videos”. Now it's clear who are “Crypto-enthusiasts”, as you may have read before they don't do anything interesting, but what about the memes on X, isn't that promoting cryptocurrency? Of course yes, it's quite the promotion of cryptocurrency, the problem is that, the memes which are basically something like “me when bitcoin is $70,000 ‘it's a scam’ me when bitcoin is $60,000 ‘that's what I was talking about’ me when bitcoin is back at $80, 000 'it's a scam'” (sorry you had to read that), so, such memes can be understood by everyone, but not everyone will say ‘damn it, I need bitcoin’, but after the advertisement of some exchange on time sqare or the news that some nerd has made another $million on bitcoin will say

You can say why should the crypto community promote cryptocurrency? Well, then why on every second "crypto" account every second post is something like "No fiat! No to the dollar! All hail bitcoin!" hahahahaha.

As you realized the main claim is that why you write that cryptocurrency is better than fiat but do nothing to promote "your" position to the masses
